Or, "She Doesn't Like You"

"I do not like you, human."

She makes DAMN sure every human she meets knows this. She's not inherently a bigot, in fact most of her family wishes she wasn't, which is one reason she doesn't just snipe every human "foolish enough to leave his pack". Her parents are always off helping humans that "supposedly" need help, leaving Meldiriel to raise her little brother, Castien, by herself, which has brought about resentment.

Another reason is because she has a natural love of all living things, be they trees, animals, Elves, halflings, or indeed, humans. One reason she doesn't like humans is because she thinks they have no regard for nature and the forest, where she lives. Should she meet any human that said otherwise, she'd need some convincing, but they'll have her respect.

But they're still human.

A third reason is she got a disturbing prophecy from a stranger she strongly believes was her deity, Cunning Bat, involving her little brother:
"Within three sun's rising of the feast of the bat, your blood sibling will be seized by the flame of human passion."

Her tattoo covers the entirety of the right side of her body and invades a bit of the left side. It's unclear where it came from, but she claims to have done it all herself.

She's a rouge ranger training to become an Arcane Archer. She's fluent in both Common and Elvish. However, she's not 100% familiar with Common, most of her dealings with humans being hostile, so she has trouble picking out things like sarcasm or wit.

I made her for a D&D game I'm playing. My first one, actually. Exciting.

Q: What's that odd, poorly-written script?
A: That's my handwriting. The rest is Elven writing (that I had to learn to do for the game). Her word-bubble says, "I do not like you, human." Her armor and bow say different nature-friendly things, like "wood", "earth", or "flower". In the bottom-left corner is my name.

Q: Why does her bow look so odd?
A: Because I've never drawn a bow before.

Q: Isn't that the cape-thing Lightning wears in Final Fantasy 13, just colored jade?
A: Yes. It is.
